Chester Mission Station
Who We Are
The Mission Station at Chester includes a thrift store, meeting space, Christian education (including mental wellness workshops), and a transitional home for women. The thrift store is a great place to find a friendly face and great bargains. It is primarily staffed by community volunteers, and all proceeds support the work at and through the Center of Hope. The Thrift Store is open Monday-Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
This Mission Station also operates a transitional home which is known as the Center of Hope. At the Center, we seek to share Christ’s love, grace, and hope with homeless women by providing housing, hope for healing, and opportunities for growth. In addition, we offer workshops through the Center of Hope that help residents and the community-at-large live the abundant life Christ died to give us.
