THE PROCESS
THE REASON
THE RESEARCH
Christ Central is committed to researching the root cause of poverty among people in local communities across America and around the world.
THE RESPONSE
We seek to be a resource to Government, Commerce, Education, Church, and Individuals, offering a godly response to the needs of people, in order to reestablish Hope in the hearts of those in communities we serve.
God has ordained and gifted people to have a heart of compassion to recognize need. Our mission is to find those people, train them, then support them in an effort to meet the need that is in their heart to accomplish.

ABOUT CHRIST CENTRAL
In August 1992, members of various area congregations began meeting at a local church in downtown Columbia, South Carolina, to seek God's will for their city. Two years later, in June 1994, a homeless man came to the event and asked for food. His request was met, more homeless people started coming for the same reason, a great need was recognized, and the challenge was accepted. The effort was named Inner City Ministry. It soon outgrew the gymnasium that was originally offered, and on May 18, 1997 Inner City Ministry became Christ Central Ministries.

MISSION STATIONS
Christ Central is blessed to have locations across South Carolina where local people are having their needs met on a daily basis. Our directors and team of volunteers work daily to discover needs of impoverished people and work to find a godly response to meet their needs.
Each week people like you volunteer their time to help those who can't find ways at times to help themselves. Christ Central depends on talented and experienced volunteers, especially retirees. If you are looking for an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to people in need, please feel free to contact us. If you feel unqualified in serving in local missions, you are welcome to attend classes or seminars at Christ Central Institute or at any of our locations where trainings are held.Â
